The Gavilan dairy is home to Nubian goats and Jersey cows that give delicious creamy milk.
In 2010 we will be offering Goat & Cow Shares for those wishing to have fresh raw cow and goat milk as well as delicious cheese. We will be offering more information on this service in the coming months. Dairy Goats
Our Purebred Registered Nubian dairy goats and Nubian crosses are raised for the production of delicious creamy milk, Good structure, well formed udder and hand milking teats as well as an overall hardiness and friendliness. We almost always have bucks and mature milkers for sale and sometimes doelings too! We maintain a herd of around 25 Dairy goats and aim to have 6-10 milkers during the milking season.

Sally - 2006 unregistered LaMancha milk doe, well mannered, friendly, produces around a 1/2 gallon a day, small teats, exposed to Nubian buck for Spring kidding. $125

Geneva - 2006 unregistered Alpine doe, very gentle and friendly, produces a gallon a day, small teats, good mother, exposed to Nubian buck for Spring kidding. $250

Gertrude - 2008 unregistered half Nubian half Alpine doe, well mannered, friendly, produces about a half gallon a day should improve with second freshening, exposed to Nubian buck for Spring kidding. $250

La De Da - 2009 ADGA registrable Purebred Nubian doeling. Mother was awesome milk doe with large teats, well formed udder, medium to heavy producer. This doe is sure to follow in her mother's footsteps. This doeling is very sweet, horns are intact. Selling her for a low price because she has a slight overbite. $75

Jersey Cattle
We run a small herd of Jersey cows. Jersey cows are small sweet little cows with beautiful eyes and very sweet creamy milk. We may at times have Jersey or Jersey cross stock for sale.
